AVZ chart, page-3894

So TA is basically bollox and unreliable? I undertand the basics when I see a chart but TA can't factor in unexpected or even expected events can it? It seems to solely look for repetative patterns/trends and uses that to suggest future movement. The tighter the lines then perhaps more accurate/less accurate but if a good/bad ANN or more USA crap pops out (Macro-nomics) then it knackers the entire chart so it seems to me that if we lived in a world of no news/global peace/ no company ANN'S then TA would be useful but until then we may aswell use gut feeling and research!
