mate, I love learning about charts from the pros here. but my take on it is... its coincidence. charts go up and down for a number of reasons ie drill results, personnel changes. none of which can be predicted by any chart, but are good indicators or trends. charts go up and down... and every number on that graph has a chance of being used at some point during the SP duration.
the thing is... you can say that it will hit the gap. if it doesn't hit that gap no one really cares, but as soon as it does hit that gap everyone that said it would, comes out of the woodwork and blows wind into the prediction and all of a sudden we have other believers. much like astrology.
