The chart is the sum of all parts its a snapshot in time of all the known knowns and the yet to be known unknowns - T/A wont get you in at the absolute bottom or out at the absolute top of a trend - all we seek to do is capture the bulk of the up-trends and exit early in the downs .

Use F/A to pick what stocks to buy and T/A to try and optimise the entries and exits using a stop loss for when you get the timing wrong and a trailing stop to bank the profits. We dont know yet if 4.8c was the bottom it may well be but it is still very much in the one day bargain hunt bounce zone at this point in time. It needs to now make a series of higher highs , higher lows and higher closes to confirm with more certainty that we have in fact seen the bottom

The day traders would have been all over the intraday turnaround yesterday it was very much a day trade buy on the 5 minute chart when it went back to 5c after hitting 4.8c- my index trade setup would have had a buy at 5c and a stop at 4.5c - You would still be in the trade - Bill McLaren reckons counter trend rallies normally last 3 to 5 days lets see where it is at the end of next week

9 & 21 EMA cross on 5 min

always love to learn new stuff about TA, and in my trading plan my SL is not a set % but rather dependent on MAs
