Fair value is determined by what the independents valuation was at. Apparently that figure sat around 16c-28c (pub banter of course); that figure will now have been reduced due to the recent dilution; probably somewhere around the 14-15c mark now.
Should an offer come in at around that price ; AVZ would have to announce it to the market. The figures that Nigel Ferguson has in his own head don’t even come into it; he could provide a recommendation to decline until the cows come home ; but that’s all he can do.
Its important the the company gets the price up or risk getting taken out for cheap chips
