Contrived Announcement
It was contrived, it was obviously dropped not far from when the ink was drying.
But let's look at it logically.
You drop it before or after the festive period , pretty simple.
Both will accomplish the full rerate eventually as facts are facts , and once absorbed people and institutions will act accordingly.
It is quite obvious why it was dropped when it did , and there was empathy involved in that, which gives me even more respect for this management team .
With other Announcements coming in the New Year , Nigel and his team are going to bust this wide open.
