AVZ investing

I bought in at 9 cents, lost my nerve when the share price dropped from 16 back to 9 and sold again at 9.7 ... bought in again at 14.5 cents but only half the amount originally invested (kicking myself) ... now considering offloading other shares that may take another year or two to take off and investing all into AVZ for quicker gains. Excuse my ignorance as I'm new to trading but is there any possibility of a takeover offer being accepted that is less than the current share price ?
