To complete the perspective of point 6, AVZ will need to find more electricity if seeking to reduce its transport task by producing hydroxide at minesite as well.
Notwithstanding that some aspects of that process - i.e. chemicals etc - will still need to be transported in etc etc.
We had a discussion on that earlier in this thread too noting the AVZ Power station can be expanded beyond 64 MW based on comments made by NF recently from recollection. But a hydroxide facility will also require more access to capex, noting AVZ is going for a HMS option for producing spodumene concentrate (and retrofit floatation later on) as a means to control capex costs (so can't see hydroxide been used as a means to reduce the transport task in the short to medium term in any event.
