Whoever is looking to fund AVZ is hardly going to be looking at the current outlook. If so why did Wesfarmers purchase KDR. They will be looking at future demand and supply equilibrium.
IMO AVZ is a great place for them to tie up 160m, if there is a recession they can park their funds there and develop a mine. Then when it comes online the price of lithium should be back up around $700.
Add in tin credits and a tax concession and your risk starts to decrease significantly.
