It appears that Copperbelt Katanga has erred in its reporting of the AJN Resources' MOU in which it "to acquire certain mining assets that the Presidency of the Republic recovered from Dan Gertler’s Ventora. These are the gold mining site of Moku in the Province of Haut-Uélé, the gold deposits of Sokimo and Ituri and Bas-Uélé including those of Zani and Gada as well as the lithium mining site of Manono which must belong to australian AVZ" (9 May 2022).
According to AJN's announcement to the CSE and Frankfurt on 19 April 2022, the MOU refers only to the proposed acquisition of a number of exploration permits in the highly prospective Kilo-Moto Gold Belt in North-East DRC. There is no reference to any acquisition by AJN of Manono. See:
