    Hi @StockYoda

Just for FYI as it would seem from some of your past ramblings you had not previously studied some of the initial posts in this thread.
For others who have been following this thread as of 17th of Dec Van Eck had purchased some 97,453,806 shares in AVZ which was about what was expected since the 10th of December. If they have their quota of AVZ until the next rebalance they will only add or subtract from their holding if they have investors moving in or out of the fund. i.e. they have more funds to invest or have to sell to meet calls. If they do have more investors come onboard they would be expected to add in the same proportions across all holdings and the same for reducing their holdings. Watch out for the next MVIS rebalance.

Note there is an above average cash balance in the fund so there may still be some other adjustments to come.

If you look at the movement in share price since the 10th December U.S. time the impact of the MVIS rebalance announcement has probably been the major factor in driving up the SP over the last week.

From now on holders will need to strap on tight as it may well be the short sellers will having a field day with AVZ each and every day. They certainly seem to concentrate on companies with high capitalisation that currently have no current income revenue as is the case with a large number of listed lithium companies. If you check the Van Eck website they can generate income by lending out there shares, subject to certain conditions.
