Hi, I didn't think so, but it looks like that is the case from the information in the link below. If you hold the options for a year and a day - and AVZO have been phenomenal with regard to facilitating this (with expiry May 2020), then you get CGT discount when you sell. That is my understanding (and what I'm trying to do, bought last of main holding Sept 2017).

You need to be mindful of holder entity too if wanting CGT discount, companies can't get it.
