1/ C+B=10
2/ D+B=20
3/ D+C=24
where, C=Cat, B=Bunny, D=Dog.
C = 10 - B
D = 20 - B
now plug C and D into 3rd equation,
(20 - B) + (10 - B) = 24
Solve for B then 30 - 2B = 24, therefore, 2B = 30 - 24, 2B = 6, or B = 3
plug B's value into equation 1 & 2, you get C = (10 - 3) => 7 and D = (20 -3) => 17.
Total weight of Bunny (3kg) + Cat (7kg) + Dog (17kg) is 27 kg
I am sure the bunny will disagree with only being 3 kg because the scale was clearly biased or not calibrated! It clearly didn't account for all the fluff!
