Interesting story - did Tim G make a cash distribution after selling Eritrea (or was that something from much earlier ?) I held Chalice for the northern Victoria gold exploration - (following trends from the major mines at Barrarat, Bendigo etc). Then sold and got back early for Julimar. Made coin but failed to hold for the big run. Worse still was a feeble effort on the other TG play nearby, Liontown. I'll never forget that. Traded it early and thought it was a wizz, then made a decision it was too expensive at 18c - I'm in again now for the opening of Kathleen Valley. Bought ~1.50 on the crash after Gina did her big buy on market to block an O/S T/O. Underwater, but expect to bank 6 figures when the new mine is running smoothly, with big upside to Li price.
IMO you are right to bring up these events, as it shows the need to be of sound judgement when a possible major play is getting its first legs.
Still need to caution to take care and do your DD.
