Yeah but many zinc smelters could already pull enough Indium out of existing smelter feed for little cost without mining any new special Indium ore. Indium is pretty common in zinc deposits, although admittedly at lower levels than western desert. They don’t bother recovering it all the time because the market is so tiny.
The US imports its indium from South Korea, a partner that is not really a risk.
In AW1, I’d attribute $1bn of value to Storm and $1m to Western Desert. The share price doesn’t reflect storm value yet.
