It's not a level playing field

AW1 won't get shorted for one main reason, there's not enough liquidity after you strip away the buys and sells that are there only to manipulate the price. You might get the odd individual or two. Shorters have superior intelligence (the military definition) and obviously by their very nature, target over priced stocks.

Financiers won't lend money at market rates, they demand more, hence the discount plus whatever other benefits they agree to that mightn't make the nightly news!

A study up of market makers (manipulators) is very useful, especially if you wish to sleep at night, at least you'll be aware that the share price isn't the company.

CEO's and MD's are there to sell their company and anything they say should be massively watered down. Contrary to what they say in their presos, in anns, wherever, shareholders, other than the major ones who have their ear are an absolute pain to them. If what they say might have proven to be misleading and costly well so be it, it's not up to them to take shareholders by the hand. It's in their nature to present only the juicy stuff and many times they run a fine line but very rarely do we ever see them slapped over the wrist for what they've said.

AW1 might prove up additional resources, better than expectations, they might have outstanding success with the drill and the share price could get a re-rate, I hope it does for shareholders.
