I'm not sure if they need to do more drilling before DSO processing starts. The only thing stopping them would be permitting and i think they have started this process already. Environmental studies already in full swing. Dave mentioned in the webbinar that it shouldn't be too difficult. It's basically an empty island of people and vegetation and wildlife, an Arctic desert with only one metre of snow per year. Very flat and easy to drive over.
Drilling on further high grade shallow deposits can continue for years to come while the DSO is in progress, and with the various tools they are now armed with, like the MLEM It's becoming more predictable and easy to find. Not my opinion, but Dave and Tom's. They have probably already proved up several years of a simple open pit quarry style operation already, which the MRE study will show very soon. It Maybe 6 to 18 months hopefully to get everything in place. A lot more drilling would have occurred anyway by then, but the starting probably not dependent on it. This is all advancing very quickly now they have cracked the geophysical code. Finding 20 million to fund this operation is the envy of any speccy exploration miners out there, the ideal scenario, money flowing in early to fund exploration and the much bigger deeper deposit below. It's not even deep only 200 to 250m below surface and flat lying. Some of the majors are probably already closely watching this. Watch out for a few surprise left field announcements. AW1 is shaping up to be a really exciting company that's why I'm long and still buying.
