The real issue is when reality sets in, tomorrow, next week, next year, in a few years time. George Costanza said “it’s not a lie if you believe it” yet George knows he’s living a lie and is proud of it, and that’s the funny part. Most people who take themselves off to fantasy land where they’re comfortable don’t know what’s going to break!... but when the time comes they’re going to have to address how far off from reality they really are and it’ll hit hard! There’s not the approval they crave which is the biggest hit, there’s certainly not the wealth, nor the relationships, nor the career.
