An interesting comparison of the US copper metal futures price trend (Orange line) against AW1 daily share price (red-green trend).

Over the past year, the copper price (US$/lb) has traded between $3.60 to $4.00 price range. AW1 has traded between $0.052 and $0.375.

With copper supply concerns, the copper price is breaking out to new levels and was US$5.20/lb overnight. Up at least 40% from the yearly lows.

Question, is AW1 due for a price breakout upon release of high-grade shallow copper inter-sections at Cyclone North, Lightning Ridge, Thunder and The Gap?

IMHO, Yes, with a short-term target of $0.18. It would be funny if "The GAP" prospect drill results was the trigger to bridge the growing differential (or gap) between the copper metal price and the AW1 share price.
