I've converted oppies before, you will only pay the strike price of 20c. The beauty of options is that you can lock in that 20c purchase price by paying a small deposit (the price you paid for the option) - look at it like a lay-by (showing my age now)
They can really magnify your gains, as we're seeing here, or you can lose a lot if the SP falls below the strike price when it comes time to convert. I recently had 6M ASN oppies but they expired worthless as the strike price was 20c and the SP when they expired was only 16c - was cheaper just to buy them on market so made no sense to convert. I lost $350K but I'm making it up for it here thank goodness!
