the problem with mailing or phoning the company is that the answers are always going to be vague or ultimately inaccurate. I gave up long ago expecting every apparent and published deadline to be met - and I think for a fragmented company that is not as yet in control of all the parts to expect perfection would be false.
So saying it's about time deadlines where met and I'm not really sure the latest one has yet one has been missed as yet
My view as stated elesewhere, the folks at the top have significant skin in the game, significant investment in time and in money. This used to be Ralphs baby and it would be a personal failure if it didn't get off the ground. SPI have been with "us"for a long time and I would like to think the Chinese would rather loose money than face.
The share price has little to do with the state of the company - as nobody really knows that ( possibly even those at the top) but it has everything to do with sentiment and that sentiment will only get worse the longer that clarity is missing.
The waiting is getting tedious to say the least but if the EGM is announced and all the other bits of the puzzle fall into place then it will still have been worth it and the hair I have pulled out will eventually regrow
