Ausron awarded $6,571,149 for costs in Linfox case

His honour Justice Brownie of the Supreme Court of New South Wales today made an order for Linfox
Transport (Aust) Pty Ltd (Linfox) to pay Ausron No 2 Pty Ltd (Ausron) costs of $5,494,535 and interest
of $1,076,614 (total of $6,571,149).
In addition to this order on costs Ausron was awarded damages of a net $4,276,301 from Linfox last
October, making the total owed by Linfox to Ausron $10.847,450. This amount is earning interest at
supreme court interest rates, currently 9%, until Linfox’s appeal is heard in on the 16th and 17th of
August 2005.
This amount of $10,847,450 is not currently reflected in Ausron’s accounts.
