I would have done the same in your position, one of my favourite quotes of late is: "No one ever made a loss taking a profit" - Cash is cash, congratulations on paying down on your mortgage! I'm lucky enough to be in the latter case you described. I've been here since 2015 and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. We've been watching the Chrysalis stage of this company for the last 2-3 years and this growth has been it emerging as a butterfly. Time to let it go and watch it fly. Being young has it's advantages when you combine it with value investing and a strong hand of patience - not to mention the naïveté to over-invest in the early days.
