Hi Biggles and all,
Much happen whilst I was busy fishing? Four good salmon in half an hour the other day great stress free fun I recommend to all.
I pleased to hear things are going well in your part of the USA, San Francisco has a lot going for it although I know you modern chaps have you ways there but I guess I remain somewhat of an old fashioned kind of bloke I still wear a waist coat and pocket watch and I still prefer women!
I guess if one just puts out of his mind that California in general is bankrupt life in deed can go on. Just pleased my super money is in physical Gold and not some Californian teacher’s fund.
The following link is worth your two minutes IMHO as it makes for an interesting comparison between two great cities.

The recent gold action has not been pleasant and that’s for sure; however, since I started buying physical gold back in 2002 this is the third time I have seen gold in what is called an official bear market. I have the details from one of the paid for sites I use they are as follows:
1. June 2006 to November 2006 - Gold fell from $US 722 to $US 562 - Down $US 160 or 22.2%
2. April 2008 to November 2008 - Gold fell from $US 1005 to $US 705 - Down $US 300 or 29.9%
3. August 2011 to April 2013 - Gold has fallen from $US 1892 to $US 1362 - Down $US 530 or 28%
For the record I sold no gold on the first two occasions and I do not intend to sell any in the near future after this latest price set back. The first two events above lead to other major problems in the general market and now I just don’t know what to expect after this last big sell down.
Time I guess will tell meanwhile I will continue enjoying life and try and do more fishing!
You must be in heaven these days making a fortune with your trading and seeing some many Gold bugs suffering take care you’re not struck with nocturnal enuresis!
Cheers and very best regards: Andy
