    What we know
Australia has the largest Bauxite production 83000 tonnes per year, followed by China (68000), Guinea(45000),Brazil (36000).
Converting Bauxite into Alumina has nasty by products and costs money. Different grades of Bauxite have less nasty by products and are less costly to refine depending on the levels of Gibbsite, Boehmite.
AWC has a mining lease on the Darling Ranges which stretch from roughly Northam to Collie in Western Austalia.( A massive amount of land) The process involves removing the topsoil, about 1-2 Metres, conveying the Bauxite to the refineries Pinjarra, Wagerup and train to Kwinana. Once the Bauxite is removed the ground is replaced and cattle breed on this land. You would not even know that the land was mined.
AWC made more money on cattle production in 2016-2017 because the low prices of Alumina.
This lease is a top quality reserve of Bauxite which produces really good quality Gibbsite, very low cost to refine and little nasty by-product Silica oxide. It is the jewel in the AWC crown.
    Presentation by Mr Ferraro.pdf
On page 4 of the attached PDF, Mr Mike Ferraro the CEO of AWC states, the costs of China to compete in the Alumina market is diminishing.
ATM, Aluminium is $1495 US a tonne and AUD-US exchange is 65 US cents to one Australian Dollar.
I will be holding my AWC shares until AWC make an announcement to change my opinion because I believe all commodity prices will rise in the next 3 months. (Iron ore less than others due to initial high price).
Can anyone add to this why the price is falling.
