Thank you bazza d2, you are spot on about the EMU. Top down analysis is the best approach I have found. Bottom up is flawed and leaves investors confused waiting for value to be reflected in SP.
My Funds are 50/50 roughly now until I see the big picture pieces get into some alignment - at the moment just chopping either way and too chaotic to play with safety. It is good to be in here sharing thoughts with fellow investors - putting you down as one of my favorite posters now for your mature and worldly view.
