Peter Slipper faces ACT Magistrates Court over alleged misuse of Cabcharge vouchers


Former federal parliamentary speaker Peter Slipper has arrived at the ACT Magistrates Court to face a hearing over the alleged misuse of Cabcharge vouchers.

Slipper is accused of misusing the taxi vouchers between January and June 2010, mostly to visit Canberra wineries, and trying to cover it up.

He has pleaded not guilty to three charges of dishonestly causing a risk of loss to the Commonwealth
