Looking at the announcement they basically sold down about 8 odd million shares and procured 175 million in June 2008 out of a total volume of 500 million traded ie they accumilated approx 35% of the shares TRADED.(I'd consider that a high percentage of toal volume TRADED)
Therefore it seems that big money moves the market around if they want to. Basically they used a small amount of shares to create a buying opportunity. A lot of nervous investors seem to have sold out.
I wonder if they are averaging down on a huge scale. It begs the question?(This is just a postulation thinking on a company scale not on seperate funds) How far is the invesment underwater and how much are they willing to move the market around to correct this situation?

Still a long term hold IMO
PPS Had a bit of dermis on my hand and good old ZINC OXIDE(AKA sudo cream) fix that up so zinc is ok with me:))
