I was about to post my reply stating "what makes you think that they haven't", but, upon informing myself, I have read that off-market takeovers on the ASX to require the target shareholders to be notified of any offers. (source)
But how do we know that a prospective on-market isn't occurring? Where can we get stakeholder reports of who the biggest shareholders are at any given time?
