My accountant told me about the rule, I can't remember How many days she said but I googled it a year or two ago and came across the 61 day rule, it may have been the US one. Looking again I've found some that suggest a 30 day rule... So I may have gotten that wrong. Apologies.
This is from the ATO website, it doesn't specify days though
Whatever the case, selling last week and buying back now would come under this rule
