Yes but when is this break of 46c gonna happen? The company said it would release a Commercialization Roadmap. NOT snippets here and there in the Annual Report but a stand-alone enthusiastic upbeat document that comprehensively sets out a timetable it will work towards to start selling sh!t. A stand-alone document tells the market that its serious about commercialization and that its front and center in its sights going forward. But the board doesn't want to do it and I'll tell you why; they're too scared to be held to it. But come on, is that the kind of Board we want? We need a board that is enterprising enough to set goals and doggedly work towards them.
I ask anyone whose reading this critically to ask themselves, what's the more effective mechanism for achieving the success of AXE for the shareholders (1) the so called "incentive options" or (2) An announcement to the market that these are the goals we are aiming to achieve by XYZ time (it doesn't have to be an exact date - there's still a lot of give they can allow themselves). But of course, Management wants the relaxed approach of so called incentive options. And for how much and when are those options exercisable? 30 June 2028 at $0.534 cents. Really? They've got to 2028 to achieve a SP of 53c or better. Thats not an incentive. All they have to do is keep AXE afloat until June 2028 and they've made their doe. We want the Company to commit to an ambitious program to commercialize and work their guts out to achieve it. Now they promised they would deliver a "proper" commercialisation roadmap and we must hold them to it.
And the other thing we need to hold them to is the urgent appointment of a well-tried and tested CEO. And by urgent I mean by Christmas. They announced MO's departure in June/July. 5 months later still no CEO. See what I mean by giving themselves a relaxed no hassle life.
I was sold and still believe that AXE has a great future in delivering innovative, and possibly even groundbreaking technology. But to do that we need a gutsy board willing to push themselves to achieve what Google did and nVIDIA did. And even if they don't quite make it to be Google or nVIDIA, AXE will still be phenomenally successful, provided we have a board willing to stick its neck out and reach for the stars. Because when you think of it, that's what they promised when they reinvented themselves from miner to High Tech company.
