we expect some announcements for the TMR in this order -
a prototype TMR sensor has been manufactured at MDT, which AXE is in receipt of
next year an announcement(s) talk to potential customers. Depending on the requirements of each customer, the TMR sensor has to be embedded and designed into a circuit. Typically connected to a CMOS architecture which will vary according to use case.
same goes for the biochip gFET sensor. Integrating it with application specific CMOS circuitry. In fact it's this knowledge gained with the biochip design that is now being leveraged to help design the TMR chip.
Good to see this step change happening. It shows some maturity in the engineering process. This is proprietary patentable knowledge of nanoengineering carbon materials. There is also the advantage in the way the carbon film is producing ordered arrays of nanoscale islands that make fabricating a device around these islands a quicker process. Which then also means quicker build,test cycles. (30.09.24 announcement)
also from same announcement - "Experimental work and theory collaboration with EPFL has resulted in further fundamental understanding of our carbon materials. A scientific paper of the findings will be submitted for review and publication in the coming weeks."
Publishing a scientific paper will have some bearing on receiving R&D grants.
