yep… call me a conspiracy theorist, but I reckon there’s considerable buying interest in the US. and I believe the otc shares sold in the US have to be bought on the asx first. Creating pumps and dumps (fuelled by shorts) on the asx will shake a few extra shares out of disheartening holders on the asx and into the hands of US brokers for US buyers of otc shares.
