batboy, I will never invest one cent more in the Solomon Islands. Go back in history and you will see the PM and his MoM were courting the Chinese nearly two decades ago. Simply put, they were out to get rich for themselves with Chinese brown paper bags to the exclusion of the people of the Solomon Islands. So why did they go with PNM? simple answer is they need money to keep the peasants happy.

BTW PM Sovagare was born in PNG not the Solomon Islands.
