Attrition.
I use it all the time at work. If I'm competing with someone / group, I'll distract them with noise, move the goal posts, send them down the wrong path etc, all the while I'm working on a business case that will be accepted (horrible I know, but that is how my company works - there is only so much $$ to go around and the groups that don't get the $$ get made redundant - I need to fight for my group)
So yes, If i was SMM with all their money, I would keep distracting AVQ all the time, till either they lose their $$, their shareholders get fed up and sell the company down to nothing (harder for AVQ to get finance when their share price is worthless) or AVQ get fed up and walk away.
SMM are playing a good game, partly because either some of the posters here play straight into their hands (or are paid by SMM), and party because SIG are a bunch of useless 3rd world hacks that couldn't run a chicken raffle, much less a country.
Somehow though, AVQ (like David and Goliath) seem to keep hitting back, hitting hard and are lucky to have the support of a few dedicated shareholders who are willing to fight.
Make no mistake, SMM want to mine SI badly, really badly and their last hurdle is AVQ.
I feel AVQ will win out in the end, because of the landowner support that they have....the one thing SMM didn't count on.
