This is where we need clarification from the office as to if it is a recent image or older image. Stage one drilling in San Jorge finished in March 2017, so you would assume that if these images were taken on 10th September 2017 as you say there would have been much more vegetation growing on the area of drilling as it is at least 6 months since drilling finished. The reason I say this is I had lots of excavation work done at my property in April this year where we had bare earth over a large area on our property due to digging out huge rocks, we live on a 12 acre property in the Southern tablelands between Goulburn and Canberra, winter this year we saw temperatures down to minus figures almost every day, so nothing grew through winter. Today 6 months later (and not putting down any grass seed at all), we have had vegetation (mainly weeds with some grass) grow back to the extent that we have had to use a slasher to keep it under control, so on comparison to the Solomon Islands where the temperature is much more tropical you would assume much more vegatation would have grown back in the area of drilling according to the date you have supplied. I have attached a few photos of our excavation to show what I am talking about.
This is my opinion only, but as I have said it needs to be confirmed by Axiom.
