It's collected by the medical data provider IMS - who track prescription sales and volumes for most drugs in the US. You can source this information via Bloomberg Terminal, which is where I sourced it from.
One one of caution - the data reflects retail dollar prescription sales for the us trt market. I have tried to rec this to the net sales figures reported by Eli Lilly in the past with little success. I understand there are rebates between gross and net sales which need to be accounted for and these are not reported. Therefore it's only really the trend that is useful here, rather than the absolute dollar figures.
