I spent a bit of time going over this historical data of MON and I have come to the conclusion that the two mines (MON and AXM) are in very different scenarios.
While they may have shared one thing in common with most gold juniors (shortage of cash) I think that both the relative market environments and mines were very different.
Firstly the price of gold was only just reaching $1000 AUD around the time of MON's collapse.
Secondly the grades of AXM have never been in question as was the case with MON although being refractory does pose an extra challenge.
Finally the quality of the management for the two operations (AXM and MON) are... well... of very different levels to say the least.
Davo77 I noticed a couple of your posts on old MON threads so you probably have a better idea than myself on the matter.
Next ill have a look at View Resources.
