Hi Gareth, Regarding your comment about the 40m CDI,s being equivalent To 40m Aust shares.
I think this is incorrect (Please someone correct me if I'm wrong). In AXP's announcement on 27/1/17 regarding the raising of $45m the total CDI's are 48,913,044 @ 91c which is equivalent to 16,304,348 class A common stock. Which by my calculations is 3 cdi's to one share.
