It's most unusual given larger intermodal train competitors Pacific National and SCT (Specialised Container Transport) across the Nullarbor to see four AZJ trains in a row on the Port Augusta - Tarcoola section of the main (and only) standard gauge transcontinental line to Perth, but that's the case this morning.

The loaded, very heavy AZJ Bulk's mineral sands train for Tronox from Triida and Broken Hill, NSW to Kwinana in southern Perth has not long departed Pimba, travelling west. Pimba is on the Stuart Highway as well, and is additionally famous because Woomera is a little north. Look up the latter if you don't know its history.

Intermodal train 3DA6 that departed Darwin's Berrimah on Tuesday is nearing Wirraminna, so those two trains will soon cross (pass one another, as it's a single track with crossing loops of typically 1800 metres plus). This intermodal ends up in Adelaide, and will have some double stacked containers (i.e. one on top of another).

A little further west is opposite number 4AD1 that's on its way to Darwin, and then at Tarcoola there's AZJ Bulk's empty ore train from Whyalla, South Austraia to Wirrida not far away on the line to Alice Springs and Darwin.
