There is something wrong with our freight rail network when it is cheaper to ship (as in ships) freight from woolongong to WA compared to rail.
Whether it be gauge,drive on container access,
They link SA to darwin thats just dandy.
But the bulk of freight is east coast to west coast.
Where is the azj,one rail,pacific rail etc plan to make national freight rail much cheaper and much more efficient..?
andrews spends a ridiculous $200b including maintenance and future cost blow outs on a under ground passenger rail link in victorias metro east linking box hill to cheltenham ?
Sry i hold ,bought in at a good price and collect my div but with a high degree of ignorsance regarding this sector there needs to b some action taken.
Should i start on new coal and gas supply projects.?
