I may be a little behind the times but appears PG Cook is on the board of both companies, not that it matters because transaction requires shareholder approval.
The tech guys become the biggest shareholders so effectively take over. When the deal is done MLX % holding goes from ~ 13.5% down to ~6.5% of AZK. The 3.5mill funding at say 20c/share should take MLX stake back above 10%.
I watched this one go from 10c to 60 and all the way back down. No wonder their all pissed over at AZK.
