It is pointless getting excited about the legacy US OTC listing, apart from the fact volume is just a tiny fraction of the ASX the percentage change can vary widely depending on whether the last trade (which is price the % change is calculated from) was a buy or sell. This time it was a sell at 32 cents as opposed to a slightly earlier buy at 40cents. But even with a higher quality US listing like ADRs the price almost always just follows the home exchange and does not drive the SP either up or down.

I expect to see BRN back challenging a dollar in the next six months, newsflow willing, think of what has happened so far as putting down a marker. Long term holders here will have sold stock into the rise, it would be strange if they did not.
