Well, we didn't get the lift we were hoping for.

On the weekly, we finished a pip ahead at 2.3, but playing in similar range as last week. Volume wise, big on Monday, as expected, but now back to normal.

So we got a good announcement on Monday, but couldn't gain much. Market wants more. May be from AZL as well, but more importantly, Li macro. AZL may have some good announcements coming up in the next few months. But Li macro is currently very weak. We all thought that Feb lows may be the lows for quite some time. But the sector is in real strife. I use ALB as a barometer. 128 for it is neutral, below that weakness. Yesterday it touched 107,finished at 108. It's 52 week low is 106. In big danger tonight of losing that. Most Li stocks have given up 20 to 30% in just couple of weeks. So unfortunately not a good time to hold Li stocks.

Personally I am still there but with less holding as I mentioned last week.

So what may happen next week? A tough week coming up. Li macro has to get better, otherwise most Li stocks may lose a bit more. For ASX stocks, June tax transactions coming up. It's a weak period. So overall a testing time, next week or two. If we can ride this phase playing in this similar range, that will be very positive for the month ahead. Let's hope it plays that way.
