When do you expect an official announcement regarding approval? I know BLM are very very slow but this is starting to drag on. 3 months since extended closure date, 10th July. I know major projects take time due to the required due diligence from all parties involved but the longer we wait the more likely BLM starts to become influenced by external political/environmental activists/protesters. I know Big Sandy is considered to be more ‘environmentally friendly’ from a mining standpoint but the hold ups with Ioneer and Thacker Pass don’t scream confidence for US approvals. Aware these are totally different types of projects with their own direct issues but would hate to see Big Sandy caught up in the mix. Agree with you that it appears on the surface, it has been approved due to the spin off/name change etc.
