Yes, opportunity cost is always something to keep in mind but it has be considered with your risk profile.
I have long term positions in GXY(ORE) and PLS because i got good entry points and want to have some Aussie lithium miners that are actually producing the good stuff. (Not to cross-promote, but) PLS probably still has some legs in the next few years as production ramps up with the POSCO deal going through etc so i am happy to hold even though doubling my position again make take some time.
AZL, AVZ and CXO are my higher growth / more speculative positions which i feel gives me enough risk, even though CXO is getting close to production now.
I must say, hindsight is a hell of a thing. Should have loaded up way harder in those three a few weeks ago!
None of this is very constructive to the AZL forum, but i suppose its interesting to hear how other investors manage their overall positions.
I will be carefully watching AZL this week and next, ready for the best top-up opportunity me thinks!
