6.3 Measures taken to prevent unnecessary or undue degradationSurface disturbances will be limited to the minimum amount as practically and safely possible.Pad and access disturbances will be relocated to avoid historic cultural resources and suitable buffer within the project area.Any scientifically important archaeological or paleontological resources will not be knowingly disturbed, altered, injured, or destroyed nor will any historical or cultural site, structure, building, or object. Guidelines in the BLM’s Cultural Resources (Archaeology) Standard Stipulations for Mining Operations will be followed. The discovery of any cultural or paleontological resource that might be altered or destroyed by operations will be reported to the authorized BLM officer and the discovery will be left intact.
