BLM news has nothing to do with what I stated. You can still exercise them and bet the heads will improve. It would be crazy to do so at this price when you can buy the heads, however some people have $ tied up until it's time to exercise so can't buy shares at current price.
They're options, that's the gamble.
It's generally around 1 week before exercise date, the company will issue a notification.
