Don't be suckered into the myth perpetuated by fantasy promoters from AZL that the two rogue lawyers who entered the LAC litigation late are the reason that LAC has delayed start of work for two years. Their campaign for publicity is just a distraction for those who see too much similarity between Thacker Pass and Big Sandy. Yes, they are clay deposits on BLM land. But there are many issues that are not shared.
I just noticed that the Bartell Ranch's lawyer is Kent Maher, whose state bar number is 316. That means he was around when they started handing them out, decades ago. He's been practicing law since 1976. Sorry if that doesn't fit your image of "sweaty undergraduate lawyers" (in the US, all lawyers have post-graduate degrees).
Time now for another toilet joke, I suppose.
