So it seems the brains behind Prairie Lithium's DLE process is Dr. Ian Ireland, who describes himself:
"I develop the technology necessary to extract lithium from oilfield brines that are currently viewed as nothing more than a problematic waste stream."
Here is information on the $300 "Buon Vino Mini Jet" used in the "exemplary" process described in the patent application:
