If Canadians are having second thoughts about this deal, they should keep in mind one of the conditions of the Prairie deal:
"the 10-day VWAP of AZL Shares shall not be less than AUD$0.04655 at any time prior to the Closing Date."
The deal must close by March 31 (Canada time? Australia time?) but they should move sooner before the price falls any more. Of course, the Prairie owners can waive this requirement. They're still getting $40 million cash.
